The sixth edition of the Herconomy Conference 2025 titled, Wealth Building Summit continues its legacy of equipping women with the knowledge, tools, and opportunities to build sustainable wealth.

Over the years, the conference has catalysed financial empowerment, fostering discussions on economic independence, investment strategies, and wealth creation. Under the theme “For All Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.” This year’s summit aligns with the UN’s International Women’s Day theme, reinforcing the urgent need for gender equality, financial inclusion, and sustainable wealth-building across various sectors.

The Herconomy Conference 2025: Wealth Building Summit is set to take place on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 10 AM. The event will be held in a hybrid format, with the venue details shared exclusively with registered participants, welcoming an audience of over 1,000 professionals, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, investors, and decision-makers.

Herconomy Conference 2025 will feature a series of Keynote Speeches from Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, The Minister of Trade and Investment, Engr. Bisoye Coker Odusote, Director General of NIMC, Award Winning Filmmaker, Funke Akindele, Director General of SMEDAN, Charles Odi, and Dr. Kennedy Okonkwo of Nedcomoak Group. It will also have engaging panel discussions with renowned experts offering actionable insights on strategic wealth creation. The “Growing My Wealth: Property, Stocks, Trusts, Insurance” session will feature Doyinsola Ola, Managing Director, Cordrous Wealth, Abiola Nejo – Head, Regal (Womens Banking) – Providus Bank, Derin Phillips, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State on LSDPC Matters.

Banke Kuku, Founder of Banke Kuku Textiles, Zina Anumudu, Founder of TSC Agency, and Olushola Olaleye Founder of Trips Clothing will be providing expert perspectives on Growing your wealth in the Creative Economy, a creative panel session that will be hosted by Nicole Chikwe.

A key highlight of the event will be the Debate “Cultural Expectations & Financial Implications: Is Home Cooking a More Valuable Investment than Outsourcing Meals?”, which will explore the financial nuances of household decision-making. The discussion will feature insights from Ify Mogekwu of Ify’s Kitchen, Blessing Adesiyan of Caring Africa, Ayo Anibaba, Deputy Managing Director at Sweet Sensation, and Taiwo Kamson, Foodie in Lagos, offering diverse perspectives on modern financial habits.

The conference will also spotlight multigenerational wealth-building strategies in the session “Multigenerational Wealth: Building & Sustaining Business Empires”, featuring Oladunni Oyinaka, Executive Director of Celebrations, Cosmas Maduka Jr, Executive Director of Coscharis Group and Uche Ajaere of Gig Logistics. In addition, the “The Money Spinners: From Zero to Millions” session will showcase the inspiring journeys of Nkiru Ayemere, CEO of Zephans and Co, and Seun Alley, CEO and Co-Founder of Fez Delivery Co., who will share their experiences in building successful businesses from the ground up.

As part of the event, Herconomy will announce the winners of the Herconomy Enterprise Challenge, their annual grant competition. This segment provides a platform for innovative women-led businesses to showcase their ventures and compete for funding. The winner will be announced at the conference and awarded a grant to support the growth and expansion of their business.
