Rising afrobeat singer, Awosika Olayemi Josiah, popularly known as Fido, was spotted recently with Burnaboy and VeryDarkMan at a club in Abuja.

Although the purpose of their meeting is still being kept under wraps, tongues have been wagging that Fido and Burnaboy may be cooking up a new album collaboration in the coming months.

Fido came into the limelight in the music industry with the popular tracks “Awolowo” released in 2024 and “Joy is Coming” in 2025.

The singer earlier performed at the national MSME (micro, small and medium-sized enterprises) awards nights, which were held on Friday, 27th of June and proceeded to a club in Abuja where he linked up with Burnaboy and other public figures like VDM and Kokopee.

This sparks varied responses amongst fans as some are enthusiastic about a new song from Fido featuring Burnaboy while others are just excited about the link-up.
