Singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has defeated Speed Darlington in a celebrity boxing match held on Saturday morning at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Lagos.
The match, tagged ‘Chaos In The Ring’, was organised by Game Rush and Balmoral Promotions.
Portable won by technical knockout in the first round, earning him the title of ‘Street King’.
The fight followed weeks of online clashes between the two entertainers. Their beef started after Speed Darlington offered Portable N500,000 to perform at his show, a fee Portable rejected, saying he charges N20 million.
Their online drama quickly turned physical after both agreed to face off in the ring.
The event was sanctioned by the Nigerian Boxing Board of Control, with its chairman, Rafiu Ladipo, present at the weigh-in.
This is Portable’s second win in the celebrity boxing scene. In December 2023, he defeated Nollywood actor Charles Okocha in a similar match held in Lagos.
