The nominees for the Best Male Act for the upcoming MOBO Awards have been released.
It was announced this morning on Twitter by the Mayor of London. Amongst a bunch of popular British artists was multitalented British-Nigerian musician, Maleek Berry!
All the nominees for the “Best Male Act” award are J Hus, Stormzy, Giggs, Dave, Sampha, Chip, Bugzy Malone, Skepta, Mostack and Maleek Berry.
Maleek Berry broke into the spotlight in 2012. Since then, he has worked with prominent Nigerian artists including Wizkid, Wale, Davido and Fuse ODG. Some of his jams are “The Matter” and “Kontrol”, and finally he is being recognised for his great talent. Glad he’s finally taking “Kontrol” of his career.
We are rooting for Maleek Berry, and we hope he wins!
