The Bishop of Ife Diocese, Church of Nigeria, (Anglican Communion), Rt. Rev. Olubunmi Akinlade, yesterday implored politicians to strongly advocate for the spirit of continuity where their predecessors had started a very good programme and unable to finish before the expiration of their tenure.

Akinlade, who spoke during a press conference at the Bishop’s Court, Ile-Ife, Osun State, on the forthcoming 10th Synod of the Diocese scheduled to hold from September 13-16, 2018 at the Cathedral Church of St. Philip, Ayetoro, Ile-Ife, lamented the spate at which politicians when elected into office abandon their predecessors’ uncompleted projects, not minding the huge money committed to such projects.
