BVAS fails to accredit voters in Dogara’s polling unit

One of the Bimodal Voters Accreditation System (BVAS) at the Gwarangah polling in Bogoro LGA where the Speaker of the 8th Assembly, Yakubu Dogara will be voting has failed to function.

Dogara, while commenting said that: “This is 12:20 my wife and I are unable to vote because INEC deployed only two BVAS with just one working at Gwarangah polling unit with 1,932 registered voters. They claimed the other BVAS has no network. People are waiting & unable to vote.

“At 12:55, the Bogoro, INDC EO said there is no extra BVAS machine and now we discovered that the RATECH has disappeared with the BVAS telling voters he has gone to search for a network at Tafawa Balewa whereas we have the network on our phones. Voters have been waiting since 5am.”
