Nigerian anthology television drama series, Super Story, a Wale Adenuga Production (WAP), was crowned the TV Drama of the Year at the just held Nigeria Media Merit Awards (NMMA).

The drama series won the highly coveted laurel with the series titled Dangerous Love at the awards that took place on Sunday, November 27, at the Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Reacting to feat, the producer of the TV drama, Wale Adenuga Jnr., said: “We appreciate the organisers of NMMA, and we don’t take it for granted that Superstory has remained relevant to several generations of viewers; rather, with each new story.”

“We work even harder to keep our content authentically-African, relatable, and enjoyable by viewers of all ages, ethnicities, genders, socio-economic class, religions, etc. In January, a fresh season of Superstory titled Destiny will commence; kindly follow us on Instagram: @SuperStorySeries for updates,” he added.

Since its debut in 2001, the TV drama series has been providing highly-engaging stories that entertain and enlighten Nigerians home and abroad, reason many corporate brands, government MDAs, NGOs, and other organisations regularly partner with WAP to get their messages across to the millions of viewers who are glued to Superstory weekly.

Currently airing on NTA Network and wapTV every Thursday at 8 – 9pm; AIT Network and STV Network every Thursday at 9 – 10pm; each episode of the TV drama is also uploaded on YouTube on waptvchannel every Friday.
