Delta monarchs hail Oborevwori for awarding contracts for flyovers

Traditional Rulers in Delta State have hailed the State Government for awarding contracts for the construction of three flyover bridges in Warri and Uvwie and its environs.
Rising from their monthly meeting in Asaba, the monarchs said they were happy with what they called ”bold step of the Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration at repositioning Delta in terms of infrastructural and human capital development, particularly the calibre of persons appointed to head Ministries, Departments and Development Agencies in the state.
In a three-point communiqué issued at the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the council and Orodje of Okpe, Major General Felix Mujakpuerou (rtd), Orhue 1, said the Council-in-Session congratulated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme, on the commissioning of several multibillion naira projects across the state as part of activities to mark the first 100 days in office of the present administration.
The monarchs reasoned that the awards of several projects for execution by the State Executive Council and the inauguration of already completed ones are indication of the commitment of the government to increase the tempo of development across the state in line with M.O.R.E. Agenda of government. The Council also congratulated the immediate past Chairman of the Council and Obi of Owa, Dr. Emmanuel Efeizomor 11 on his 64th Coronation Anniversary and wished him more years on the throne.
They also felicitated with the Owhorode of Olomu Kingdom, Macaulay Popo Ovbagbedia JP, and the Orosuen of Okere-Urhobo Kingdom, Morris Eyekpini Egbobonyen on their successful presentation of staff of office by the Delta State Government.
