FG inaugurates road, erosion projects in Abuja
The Federal Government has inaugurated an integrated waste management facility as well as erosion control and road projects in Kurudu Phase I & II on the outskirts of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The projects, in the Abuja Municipal Area Council, were initiated to safeguard lives, health and property of the residents.
During the ceremony yesterday in Abuja, the Minister of Communications, Dr. Adebayo Shittu, said the projects were executed to check flooding, gully erosion, improve hygiene and wellbeing of the inhabitants.
He said the execution testifies to the “sincerity of the current administration that no part of the country shall suffer neglect due to geographical or political considerations.”
