French Week holds in Lagos on Nov 16


The French-Nigeria community is set to discuss ease of doing business in a week-long event meant to celebrate the business and cultural ties between France and Nigeria and other European countries, tagged.

The French Week, billed to hold from November 16 to 23, 2018, in Lagos, is coming at a time the government is contemplating selling the nation’s assets to fund budget and develop infrastructure.

It brings together over 1,000 key business executives, government functionaries and decision-makers of French, Nigerian and other parts of Europe living in Nigeria to network.

Following the visit of President Emmanuel Macron of France in July 2018, the French-Nigerian business and cultural relationship has grown stronger, thereby making Nigeria a one-stop destination for French and other EU businesses.

According to the organisers, the event has been carefully put together to celebrate the ever-growing ties between Nigeria and France through music, dance, sport and fashion, among others.

The event will kick off with Beaujolais Nouveau Cocktail at the Moorhouse Hotel, Ikoyi, by 7pm.
