Journalists charged to deploy ICT skills

Imo State-based journalists have been charged to judiciously utilise the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools and skills at their disposal.

Imo State-based journalists have been charged to judiciously utilise the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools and skills at their disposal.

The charge was given to the newshounds at the weekend during an ICT training in Owerri, the state capital, for Imo Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), in conjunction with Google.

Former chairman of the chapel, Everest Ezihe, expressed gratitude to Google for exposing such knowledge to the reporters, urging the participants to apply the knowledge wisely and professionally.

Participants were exposed to how to open and design websites as well as operate and check the speed of websites.
