The New Seraph Evangelical Ministries has appealed to the government and relevant agencies to intensify efforts towards ensuring the safety and security of Nigerians.
The call was made by the Founder, Her Grace Iya Aladura General Dr. Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye, during a press conference to announce the ministry’s 2026 Annual General Conference (AGC) and the unveiling of the Night of Divine Experience (NODE 8.0).
Yomi-Sholoye stressed the need for authorities to be more proactive in addressing security challenges across the country.
She noted that a safe environment remains critical for national development and the well-being of citizens.
She also used the occasion to highlight activities lined up for the ministry’s AGC, scheduled to hold from May 7 to May 9, 2026, at The New Seraph Prayer City, Ode Remo, Ogun State.
According to her, the conference, themed “Revive Us O Lord” and drawn from Lamentations 5:21, will focus on reviewing the church’s past, assessing its present state, and charting a course for the future, especially in the post-centenary era of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church.
She noted that the church recently marked its centenary, describing the milestone as a testament to God’s faithfulness, while emphasising the need for renewed commitment to growth and transformation within the body of Christ.
The cleric said the conference would feature renowned speakers and panelists who would deliberate on critical issues affecting the church and propose strategies for a “paradigm shift” that would enhance its impact.
She added that the event would attract participants from across Nigeria and the diaspora, including government representatives, traditional rulers and other dignitaries.
The main guest speaker for the conference is Pastor Festus B. Taiwo, while panelists include Apostle Olaitan Oloruntoyin, Apostle Dr. Oke Raphael, Bro. Dayo Oyewo and Rev. Taiwo Akinmoladun.
Yomi-Sholoye also unveiled the eighth edition of the ministry’s global prayer convergence, NODE 8.0, scheduled to hold from August 19 to August 21, 2026.
She said the programme would feature 72 hours of uninterrupted prayers, worship, teachings and humanitarian outreach, with over 300,000 participants expected physically and millions more joining virtually through various digital platforms.
She assured that adequate security and traffic control measures have been put in place to ensure a hitch-free experience for attendees, adding that provisions have also been made for global participation via live streaming.
