Comedian Ekene Clinton Egbuna, popularly known as Klintoncod, has said something must be wrong with professional footballers who end up in relationships with prostitutes and women who have had babies for multiple men.
According to him, the problem must be spiritual or involve low self-esteem.
Klintoncod wrote on X, “I cannot make footballer money and end up with a professional OS or an OnlyFans girl, or baby mama with like three baby daddies. Whatever is wrong with these footballers has to be extreme low self-esteem or a spiritual problem; you can’t convince me otherwise.”
The comedian laid his mind bare, following news that Ivorian footballer and Villarreal winger Nicolas Pépé is in a widely reported relationship with American adult film actress Teanna Trump
Dating prostitutes is not a new phenomenon among footballers plying their trade at the top level. A 2020 autobiography by former Denmark international Nicklas Bendtner revealed that hooking up with prostitutes was common among Premier League footballers.
“Believe me, everyone in my industry has heard of someone who’s been at it, especially in England, where it’s a grand old tradition to share your c**k-and-ball stories with a full audience,” he wrote.
“It’s less risky than picking up girls while out on the town. You hardly dare do the deed with a ‘civilian’ any longer. Not when you’re a famous footballer.
“‘I know about loads of incidents involving prostitutes. But I know of just as many stories about extortion via social media,” he wrote.
“We’re talking about gold-diggers from the nightlife scene who are up for a f*** and then take a photo of you sleeping it off while you’re starkers. With those photos as their trump card, they can demand stuff to keep their mouths shut. And they do.”
Bendtner then shared an experience in which he was finessed for money by a girl who wasn’t a prostitute.
“One of the girls I’ve been with comes back and claims I’ve got her pregnant. That there’s a price if she’s going to do something about it.
“‘And what does that mean?’ I ask. ‘It means you’ve got to pay for a pair of new boobs for me. I want my t*****s fixed,’ she says. So I end up paying for her trip to the cosmetic surgeon,” he wrote.
