Saraki woos Delta PDP delegates
Former Senate President, Bukola Saraki’s Contact and Advocacy Council, yesterday, visited Asaba, Delta State to woo Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) delegates to support his presidential aspiration.
Prof. (Sen) Iyorwuese Hagher, who led the delegation, lamented the pervasive rot in Nigeria, saying it was a direct manifestation of a failed government occasioned by the ineptitude of the Buhari-led All Progressives Congress (APC).
Hagher, accompanied by Dr. Ahmadu Musa, Alhaji Aliyu Maigari, Sen. Shaaba Lafiagi, Hassan Husseini, Prince Oleteru Lekan, Judith Bindi, Moses Aliyu and David Itopa, expressed optimism that the leadership of Dr. Bukola Saraki would be the right leadership for Nigeria, especially as the country was confronted with numerous challenges.
He said: “The time has come for serious Nigerians to step forward to take charge of this country. We can no longer leave the affairs of this country to mediocre leadership.”
