The Office of the First Lady of Zamfara State has announced that Her Excellency, Hajiya Huriyya Dauda Lawal, has been bestowed with three traditional titles within one week.

According to a statement issued by the press secretary to Zamfara State First Lady, Comrade Rabi Yusuf, the traditional titles recognised her dedication to humanitarian service and sustainable development throughout Zamfara State.

In a remarkable display of royal endorsement and community appreciation, eminent traditional rulers across the state conferred these honours in recognition of Her Excellency’s transformative contributions to women’s empowerment, educational advancement, healthcare improvements, and grassroots development.

The historic series of coronations began in Birnin Magaji, where His Royal Highness, the Emir of Birnin Magaji, Dan-Alin, Alhaji Hussaini Usman Mode, conferred upon her the esteemed title of “Inna Wuron Birnin Magaji.”

“This distinguished title represents one of the highest traditional honours in the emirate and is reserved for individuals whose service has significantly advanced the development and well-being of the people of the region”, she added.

“The recognition continued in Bungudu, where the Emir of Bungudu, Sarkin Fulanin, Alhaji Hassan Attahiru, honoured Her Excellency with the esteemed title of “Garkuwan Matan Bungudu (Protector of the Women of Bungudu)”.

“This title celebrates her steadfast advocacy for women’s rights, economic empowerment initiatives and social protection programs that continue to uplift and inspire women across the emirate.

“The week of royal honours culminated in Gusau, where His Royal Highness, Sarkin Katsinan Gusau, Alhaji Abdulkadeer Ibrahim Bello, the Emir of Gusau, bestowed upon her the distinguished title of “Jarumar Gusau” (Heroine of Gusau).

“This recognition reveals her courage, compassion and enduring dedication to supporting vulnerable populations, strengthening families and fostering social cohesion within the Gusau community.

These triple honours, conferred within a single week, stand as a powerful reflection of Her Excellency’s far-reaching impact and the deep trust she has earned among traditional institutions and communities alike.
