Atiku, five governors to commission Fintiri’s projects

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar and five state governors will next week commission projects executed by Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State within two years of his administration.

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar and five state governors will next week commission projects executed by Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State within two years of his administration.

Atiku is the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in the 2019 general election.

The governors include Oluseyi Makinde (Oyo), Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto), Muhammad Yahaya (Gombe), Bala Mohammed (Bauchi) and Mohammed Abubakar (Jigawa).

Based on the programme of events released by the governor’s Director-General on Media, Solomon Kumanga, the projects in Adamawa South Senatorial Zone will be commissioned on May 18 by Yahaya, an All Progressives Congress (APC) governor while those in Adamawa North will be commissioned by Mohammed, the PDP governor of Bauchi.

Jigawa’s Abubakar of APC, Oyo’s Makinde of PDP and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mohammed Bello, an APC chieftain from Adamawa, will commission those in Adamawa Central.

Atiku will, on May 29, commission the first flyover in the North East region.

According to the release, 22 projects, including 1,096.67km roads covering the three senatorial zones, will be commissioned.

Two months ago, the governor of Zamfara State, Bello Matawalle, had commissioned projects in Adamawa on the invitation of Fintiri.
