The All Progressives Congress (APC) has fixed Tuesday, March 24, 2026, for the screening of aspirants seeking to contest for national offices ahead of its 2026 National Convention.
In a notice issued by the party’s Aspirants’ Screening Committee, all aspirants who have successfully purchased and submitted their Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms were invited to attend the exercise.
According to the statement, the screening will take place at Transcorp Hilton Abuja, with proceedings scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m.
The committee stressed that attendance is mandatory, adding that aspirants must appear in person with all relevant supporting documents for verification.
The notice, signed by the Secretary of the Screening Committee, Isa Yuguda, was shared on the APC’s official X handle on Sunday.
It read in part: “The Aspirants’ Screening Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Convention 2026 hereby invites all aspirants who have duly purchased and submitted Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms to contest for national offices at the convention to attend the screening exercise.
“All aspirants are required to attend in person and arrive promptly with all relevant supporting documents for verification.”
The screening exercise marks a crucial step in the build-up to the APC’s 2026 National Convention, where new party officials at various national levels are expected to emerge.
