Nigeria music superstars are selling out choice venues across the globe, as Afrobeats continues to appeal to more music lovers.

Fans in Germany were recently treated to an Afrobeats extravaganza, as powerhouses including the iconic duo of Peter and Paul Okoye (P-Square), trailblazing Asake, Seyi Vibez, Runtown, CKay, Oxlade, Mr. Eazi, Masego and more were on duty on August 5 and 6.

Their electrifying performances literarily shut down the German capital city of Berlin, during this year’s edition of the Afrobeats Festival.

Held at the 10,000-capacity Spandau Citadel, the festival is the latest in the growing list of Afrobeats-themed international festivals and concerts geared towards building a bridge between Africa and Europe through music and cultural exchanges between artistes and music fans.

A reflection of the increased international appeal and acceptance of Nigerian music, the festival, combines music, dance, culture, and community to create a one-of-a-kind event, featuring a carefully curated music programme, traditional performances, educational and cultural panel talks, African Art Exhibition, African and Caribbean cuisines and much more.

YBNL signee and Mr. Money hitmaker, Ahmed Ololade, known professionally as Asake opened the gig churning out hits from his array of records. His grand entry with Organise supported by a saxophone player captivated the fans as they sang along.

For fast-rising star, Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi better known as Seyi Vibez, the stage provides him with significant international exposure following his steady rise since breaking into the mainstream in 2021 with the single Godsent, off his debut studio album titled No Seyi No Vibez (NSNV).

He garnered widespread acclaim in 2022 with the release of his critical-acclaimed single Chance and second studio album, Billion Dollar Baby, accompanied by the Mixtape Billion Dollar Baby 2.0.
