Ayra Starr joins Skip Marley on Jane
It’s been raining exciting cross-continental collaborations for African artistes recently, and one of the most exciting so far is the just-released duet by the Mavin record’s princess, Ayra Starr, and reggaeton royalty, Skip Marley, dubbed, Jane.
Produced by Rykeyz, the song is a fine fusion of two intriguing voices, showcasing a groovier and lightweight RnB that is suited for both voices.
Before the collaboration, Ayra Starr has had a good run, so far. After debuting with her self-titled EP, in 2020, she returned with a full-length album, last year, which left lips in awe of her storytelling, charisma, and vocals.
Jane soars for its feel-good melodies, as well as the exciting complimentary visuals that showcase the best of Jamaican culture.
Jane is out across digital stores.
