Bella Adenuga Disu, others bag IoD certification

Globalcom’s Executive Vice Chairperson, Mrs. Bella Disu and 65 other directors have been certified by the Institute of Directors (IoD) at last month’s induction ceremony of new members held at Eko Hotel and Suites on Victoria Island, Lagos last Thursday.

Bella was among those who bagged the Institute’s full membership, some others got associate membership, while three directors got life membership at the ceremony, where the charge was administered by the Institute’s First Vice President, Chief Chris Okunowo.

Bella, the second daughter of Dr. Mike Adenuga, joined Globacom in 2004 and is also a Director of Julius Berger Plc, the biggest construction company in Nigeria.

Welcoming guests to the event, President and Chairman of IoD’s Governing Council, Alhaji Ahmed Rufai Mohammed, reminded the inductees of the importance of corporate governance in successful leadership.

He also charged them to continue to learn, if they must remain competent.
