Daisy Danjuma, Ojora, Adedoyin, others honour Okoya at 79th birthday
The two-day party affair had kicked off with a prayer session at the family’s private mosque, where Islamic clerics prayed for the celebrant and his family.
The open house party later commenced for the patriarch and many eminent Nigerians responded by turning up in their hundreds to honour Okoya. The invited guests were welcomed into the waiting hands of Alagbada and Koko Band, who praised many of them, as they were ushered to their respective seats.
The highest point of the occasion was the cutting of the birthday cake, which was coordinated by billionaire businessman, Olu Okeowo. Otunba Adekunle Ojora, Prince Samuel Adedoyin and Femi Pedro thereafter poured encomiums on the celebrant.
Among the dignitaries that honoured Okoya were Daisy Danjuma; Hajia Bola Shagaya; Chief Nike Akande; Erelu Abiola Dosunmu; Mrs. Nike Osinowo; Chief Olorogun Sonny Kuku; Maj-Gen. Ike Nwachukwu; Ireti Asemota; Chief Mike Inegbese and Kemi Nelson, among others.
