Fashion fuses with lifestyle, entertainment at Style by Zenith fair

It was a fun way to shut down the year as Nigeria’s largest and leading lifestyle fair Style by ZENITH took place last weekend on December 29 and 30 at the Open Ground, Oniru, Victoria Island, bringing together fashion, entertainment and lifestyle finest for what can best be described as the “Lifestyle, Fashion and Entertainment fair of the year.”

Championed by leading influencers Alex “Unusual” Asogwa, Denola Grey, Uti Nwachukwu and Steve Chuks who brought on great style to the event, the iconic fair featured an explosive two-day convergence of connoisseurs, vendors and enthusiasts in lifestyle, fashion, entertainment, beauty, automobiles and food industries.

The two-day fair which attracted a rich mix of attendees including celebrities, influencers, fashion enthusiasts, families as well as shopaholics from home and abroad, was a potpourri of lifestyle activities featuring runway modelling by leading Nigerian and international models accessorized by top designers, model masterclasses, exhibition of lifestyle, fashion, beauty, and health & fitness products as well as food & exquisite drinks. There was also games arcade and a play area for children, thus guaranteeing that every member of the family had lots of fun.

The fair featured Masterclasses anchored by TV personality Bonang Matheba; international supermodels Oraine Barrett and Tarmar Awobotu; vendors’ exhibition, runway shows and daily music concerts with performances by Waje, Adekunle Gold, Simi, Mayorkun, Timaya, Kizz Daniel, Wande Coal, 2Baba and Bobby Valentino.

The fair, was hosted by Mercy Ajisafe, Eku Edewor and Ill Rymz who all brought on their finesse to make the fair an exhilarating show and a perfect way to shut down the year.

Highlights of the event include the super runway shows walked by only the best of models who strutted their stuff in pieces from hand-picked premium fashion houses, guest appearances from Tobi Bakre, Akin Faminu, Laura Ikeji, Emmanuel Ikubese, Anita Adetoye and the impromptu on-stage dance performance by former Big Brother Naija housemate Alex “Unusual” Asogwa which sent fans into a frenzy.

Speaking to The Guardian, Chairman of Zenith Bank Plc., Jim Ovia, noted that apart from serving a veritable touch-point for creating value for the bank’s customers, the fair also provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs and retail businesses to nurture and expand their businesses, in line with the bank’s retail focus, thereby lending support to the Federal Government’s agenda of financial inclusion and growing SME businesses in Nigeria.
