Nollywood actress Nazo Ekezie started her acting early in life. All through her career, the graduate of English and Linguistics of the Ebonyi State has expressed great passion for her profession, always ready to put smiles on the faces of people.

“Right from day one, I fell in love with acting and knew I could act. As a matter of fact, I’ve been acting since I was a child. I went for auditions so many times to the point that people recognised me. Even when I didn’t get roles, I never gave up; I continued that way. I met some directors, who watched me act, believed in me and gave me a chance.

Though she started out 2009, by 2012, she had masterd the act.

“I must say that since I joined the Nigeria film industry, it has been an awesome experience. It has been quite challenging though because there are people who have the type of talent you have; you have to distinguish yourself. One thing about me is that I put in my all in everything I do; I’m also a fast learner. I love challenging roles; I give it a shot and do it to the best of my ability. I’m always improving on myself. I’m glad I followed my dreams.”

Asked about her most challenging movie, she said, “

“Not Enough because I had to downplay my age; I played the role of Chimdi, a teenager, who know nothing about light. Deep inside of me, I knew that I’m grown, but I reminded myself that I’m that innocent girl, who has no experience and delivered that the role to that effect.”
