Like father like son, Prince Osborn Nweze Umahi has continued to rise in the business world following a trajectory that is similar to that of his father, Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State.

There have been speculations that the young man is likely to even follow his father into politics in the nearest future, based on his recent appearances alongside his father in meetings with prominent politicians during the All Progressives Congress party’s presidential primary which his father contested as one of the aspirants.

The speculations were not farfetched. The younger Umahi had followed his father’s footsteps in the way he is charting his career.

Like his father, he elected to study Engineering. At 15, he was admitted into Surrey University and graduated at 19 with his bachelor’s degree. At 21, he has taken over the management of his father’s business, Brass Oil and Construction Limited, as the Managing Director.

That was not all he is doing. He is also the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Osborn Lapalm Royal Resort as well as director of finance at Forte GCC Innovative Solutions which is focused on the management of financial assets, where he handles a portfolio that cut across real estate, stocks and bonds amongst others.

He also displayed a passion for philanthropy by establishing the Osborn Foundation which has been catering to the educational need of indigent children in society.
