Dimma: A gospel musician inspiring the world with her resilience and testimony


Chidimma Doris Onuoha known professionally as ‘Dimma’ is a Nigerian Gospel musician, songwriter, Motivational speaker, Project Cost Engineer, a breast cancer survivor, and the CEO of Broad Shoulders Tribe.

Dimma is an individual whose life journey has been marked by resilience, perseverance, and multifaceted accomplishments. Having triumphed over ten major surgeries, including those for fibroid removal, appendectomy, Bartholin’s cyst treatment, laparotomy and bowel recession, and mastectomy due to cancer, Dimma has emerged as a beacon of strength and inspiration.
In the wilderness of cancer, Dimma wrote, composed and recorded 25 gospel songs, wrote a book with title, ‘’You are unkillable.’’ Two days after her last cancer treatment, she unveiled a foundation (Broad Shoulders Tribe).

‘’My debut EP (LIGHT) containing six tracks, is more than a song or music—it’s my story, my testimony, and my heart’’, Dimma says.This is for anyone who feels lost, weak, or hopeless.This is a reminder that even in the wilderness, there’s a God who is with you.
