Screen diva, Tana Adelana, is new ‘Ivory’ woman

Since auditioning for the MTN Y’hello TV Show in 2002, on-air personality, Christiana Adelana well known as Tana Adelana has grace TV screens across the continent as show host, anchoring shows like MNet’s Let’s Dance, LG Karaoke Mega Star, Coca Cola FC TV, Zain Naira Rain Promo, Big Brother Africa, Hiphop World Award and Peak Talent show.

The actress was during the week officially unveiled by Givanas Industry Nigeria Limited as its new brand ambassador for Ivory beauty soap at a not too noised event that held in Lagos.

As the face of Ivory, Tana embodies what the contemporary Nigerian woman, the Ivory woman is about — a mother, wife, goal driven and independent woman, who is beautiful and looks to maintain her beauty.

Speaking at the event, the Managing Director of the company, Mr. Samir Ajami, said Tana’s choice as the new brand ambassador is borne out of the fact that she is a Nigerian woman, who other women and the brand are proud, and have been inspired by her beauty, radiance, accomplishment. Hence, they can connect through her and be assured that Ivory beauty soap always has her, the Nigerian woman, in mind.

“We believe that our brand ambassador is the ultimate ‘Ivory woman’; a woman that we are proud and honoured to have represent our brand,” he said.

For the Marketing Director, Mr. Christian Deb, there is nothing more beautiful than a generous, strong, compassionate, hardworking and industrious Nigerian women to represent our creator’s attention to this part of the world

“Ivory is our present to the modern Africans: to all men who appreciate their women, to the women who have a message to convey,” he stated.

In her remark, Tana said, “Ivory represents peace, pleasantness and a relaxed tone of understated elegance”, stressing, ‘elegance is key in everything we do.”

She noted that the legendary actor, Audrey Hepburn once said: “elegance is the only beauty that never fades’.

“I am in an industry where there is a constant subconscious and sometimes conscious need to be the best above the rest and that includes looking great always. With Ivory, that need is history because looking good becomes a way of life. I’m an advocate clear and clean skin. I have always search for soap that will help me maintain my skin considering the fact that I’m an actor, TV presenter and always under has lighting systems
