Victor Beausoleil, popularly known as Vicsoleil, has again demonstrated the passion to see Africans succeed in every endeavour, particularly business.

The acclaimed author of 11 impactful books has been spearheading the campaign for equal economic rights for Black migrants in Canada, the country of his birth.

At just 24, he co-founded the Redemption Reintegration Services (RRS), a youth-focused initiative in the country, as well as Social Economy through Social Inclusion (SETSI), a platform which “facilitates an incubator and accelerator for African Canadian businesses and start-ups”.

“We advocate for greater inclusion, diversity, equity and access within the social finance, social economy, and community economic development sectors within Canada. We also facilitate weekly capacity building webinars for community members seeking to scale innovation and cultivate greater impact in the entrepreneurial initiatives,” Vicsoleil added.

Vicsoleil, who is also a public speaker, while explaining the joy he derives to see African start-ups succeed and grow into a venture that creates jobs and sustain families, admitted that Nigeria has a track record of successful entrepreneurs, and promised to bridge the gap for more business ideas from Nigerians.

“Nigeria, for example, has some of the most successful entrepreneurs and I want to add my expertise and experience to bridge the gap for some of those Nigerians that need just a bit of support to get funding or other assistance in order to get their business concepts to the stage of reality”, Vicsoleil stated at a recent event.

Speaking on the change and development Africans desire to see, Vicsoleil challenged everyone to be the change.

“Be the change you want to see in the world. I strive daily to be the best husband, father and community leader I can be,” Vicsoleil added.
