A member of Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets squad at the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Brazil, Abba Bichi Jr. said he hopes to play football at the level of his role models Neymar Jr, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Bichi Jr., who was born December 27, 2003 in Bichi Local Government in Kano State, currently plays for Yingkou Chagoyue FC in China.

The young Nigerian is largely admired by many that followed the last U-17 World Cup in Brazil and the Chinese division 1 tournament.

Bichi plays as a for forward for club and country. Right footed though, his weaker foot is not less powerful.

“Neymar, Messi and Ronaldo are my role models and someday, I hope to play at their level – with hardwork and commitment, I know I can,” Bichi said.

“I am developing my skills and following the footsteps of these football greats whose successful careers motivates me.”

Bichi’s abilities in dribbling, shooting and control while at Wase FC attracted Changchun FC to add him to their ranks. He scored 18 goals in 30 matches since joining the club in 2018.
