
Nigerian midfielder Alex Iwobi is on the verge of joining London club Fulham from struggling Everton as the summer transfer window ends today, Friday, September 1.

According to Sky Sports, Iwobi is already undergoing his medicals at Fulham ahead of a permanent move.
Also, Sky Sports stated that the deal is worth £22 million which includes add-ons.
Iwobi would become the latest addition to the Fulham squad following the acquisition of Raul Jimenez, Adama Traore Nigerian international Calvin Bassey, Timothy Castagne and goalkeeper Steven Benda.

It would be a return to London for Iwobi after four years away, having previously graduated through the Arsenal academy.
Iwobi played against Fulham in Everton’s opening-day defeat at Goodison Park and has made two appearances so far this season.
The 27-year-old has scored nine goals in 140 appearances for Everton.
