Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club (MFM FC), have confirmed its readiness to take part in two major pre-season tournaments, ahead of the 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.

The Lagos-based team rounded up a three-week preparation programme cum screening exercise for players, yesterday at the Prayer City Playing Ground, as they concluded plans for two grade A pre-season events: Governor Dapo Abiodun Pre-season and Ogunjobi Gold Cup Tourney.

MFM FC will depart Lagos today for Dapo Abiodun Pre-season scheduled to hold at the Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, from October 12 to 18.

The NPFL team will also be involved in the 9th edition of the Ogunjobi Gold Cup, which will hold at Remo Stars Stadium and FC Ebedei Stadium, starting from October 21 to 31.

Speaking on the importance of the pre-seasons, MFM FC Director of Football, Barr. Davidson Adejuwon, said: “Yes, we will be playing in two different pre-season tournaments as we continue our preparation for the new season.

“This is part of our plans to prepare our teams for the usual challenges of the NPFL and we believe that this will definitely rub off on our performances by the time the season starts,” he said.
