Covenant dominion

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.  

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.   

And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.  

And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth,wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. Genesis 1:26 – 30 

The world is ruled by power. Therefore, you must rule and enforce your covenant mandate. To reign and rule is to stand upon the authority of His word and manifest it. When God said to man, ‘have dominion’ it was not just a blessing, but also a command. Everything that man needed to behave accordingly was already put in place. Man was left with the choice to either demonstrate his dominion right or be ruled over. That many are ignorant of the covenant of dominion does not cancel it. God’s word is Ye and Amen 

Covenant dominion is the very basis of every blessing on earth. It takes consciousness of the dominion mandate to reign in life. Reigning in life is not meant for the fearful, coward or the ignorant. To have dominion is to enforce your covenant authority, which God has commanded over every situation, circumstances and nature itself. 

The dominion power is in man. He does not need to pay any money for it neither does he need to start prayer or fasting to get it. All he needs do is to agree with it, pay the price of obedience to instruction and live in its fullness. 

The fact that things are not going the way you desired does not eradicate the potency of His word. Who you are and what you carry is bigger than any situation (2Kings 6:16) and where the word of a king is, there is power (Ecclesiastes 8:4).  Speak it, it is irresistible, it cannot be broken, no, it cannot fail! By this authority, you are able to super-impose your own colour over that of your environment and circumstances

He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.  
 
And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them. Daniel 3:25-27. 
 
The three Hebrews boys knew this much and gladly entered the fiery furnace that consumed the men who prepared it and the fiery furnace turned to air condition for them.  And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them. Verse27 

Fire could not consume them – it has no power over them. That is dominion! 
What killed others preserved them because they understood their dominion mandate. His covenant is unbreakable, it endures forever. And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?  

When the King could not help but threw Daniel into lion’s den, ordinarily the hungry lions should tear him into pieces for trespassing their terrain, but the dominion mandate was in operation and the lions became subject to him and became his pillows. 

When we walk in covenant dominion, you cannot be limited. Life is spiritual, and you cannot afford to live it carelessly. We must be conscious of our covenant with God and operate from that standpoint. If you are not living or operating in this covenant mandate, the enemy will mess you up. Ignorance is not an excuse. Let us begin to walk in covenant dominion, and we will see mountains crumble; evil bows and the enemy will not prevail.
