Building your financial capacity – Part 4

God blesses a man with riches when He has found him trustworthy and loyal. And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. 

And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. 

But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? 

So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God. Luke 12:18-21
When your money is all about you, it will not multiply. Until you are selfless with your money, it will not keep rolling in. You don’t hoard money and prosper. You don’t adopt dubious ways to get money; it is the blessings of God that make rich and do not add sorrow. May you not have the money God did not give you! Some go to the extent of cheating others, robbing men, duping and manipulating, just to belong to a class in the society.

Some are in a hurry, engaging in unholy competition, and alliance, to get wealth. There are men that even sell their souls, just to be rich. Others, like Judas, betray their loved ones to have more money.

Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. 
And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. Matthew 26: 15-16

We have a lot of people living a life of compromise because of the love for money, committing murder, adultery, assassination and debauchery. Once the source of the money is not right, it surely will not last.

Pay Your Tithe
This is an important biblical principle for financial defence.
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. 

And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts. Malachi 3:10-11

It does not matter the controversy on tithing in this present age; it does not nullify the authenticity of tithe paying. We cannot rubbish the ancient landmarks that were built for our edification. God said, “prove me”. You are left with that choice or decision to prove God, and see if He will not do as He said. You have your choice to make, but make sure you make the right choice.

If it has worked for you before, why will you allow a man like you, whose source you don’t know turn your heart against God’s principles? I am confident that it will not take long before men will begin to see the effect and repercussion of defaulting God’s instruction. If you don’t give your tithe in church, you are indirectly giving it to other services, such as medical practitioners, solicitors and mechanical engineers, among others.
