The realm of power

He took his brother by the heel in the womb, and by his strength he had power with God: Yea, he had power over the angel, and prevailed: he wept, and made supplication unto him: he found him in Bethel, and there he spake with us; Hosea 12:3-4.
A CLOSE look at the above scripture, you will discover power and strength. He had power with God, power over angels and it was also by power he took his brother by the heels. It takes power to have dominion and to rule and reign on earth. It takes power to have dominion.

There is a realm where man has power with God. That is a realm where you speak in the earth and with authority of the God of heaven. There is power with God, power of God and power from God. We have the realm of power of God.But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:  John 1:12.

Also by reason of service or higher calling, we have power from God.Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19).But power with God is a higher dimension, the highest tier of power anyone can command with God. Many have gone fetish and occult seeking power but the truth is, power belongs to God and only Him can give power in different measures.

God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God (Psalm 62:11).Power with God makes you a true representative of Divinity. Paul’s aprons healed the sick, Peter’s shadow healed the sick, Elijah called down fire, Moses’ rod path the sea, Elijah shut down the heaven from rain for three and half years and he is a man. Joshua stopped the sun from going down.

Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon (Joshua 10:12).

Power comes via prayer. Without the word and prayer there is no power. It is either we pray and prevail or we refuse to pray and perish and become a porn in the hands of the enemy. We must pray as a preemptive strategy against the wiles of the devil. Prayer jumps ahead of Satan and its plans to stop what he had intended to do. Herod had it all worked out, he had killed James.

And he killed James the brother of John with the sword (Acts 12:2).He wanted to kill Peter but the church began to pray, as they understood the power of prayer.Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him (Acts 12:5).The plan of the enemy was thwarted because the church prayed.

And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison. And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands (Acts 12:6-7).

Causality is always high when the church refuses to pray.Rebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter thou the people that delight in war (Psalm 68:30).

There are also men of the 19th century, 20th century like Kathryn Kullman, Benson Idahosa, William Braham, Smith Wigglesworth, etc. They shook their world (1 Thessalonians 1:5).

Power with God is a major secret of the prevailing Christian life. Jacob had power with God and he prevailed. At such level, miracles don’t just happen once in a while, it will be everyday affair. If you will have dominion on earth, we need power with God to display our dominion mandate.
