The word and prophecy – Part 2

Sometimes, lust is pointed or targeted at someone to destroy. Someone you are unconsciously competing with or envious of. You seek opportunities for him to fall into trouble, so you will have your laugh – This is evil.

… My lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them. Exodus 15: 9b

It could be lust after material things, food and money, among those things that are pleasing to the eyes and mind.
And they tempted God in their heart by asking meat for their lust. Psalm 78:18

These are things God has freely provided and willing to give to us, but we ignorantly fight and even commit sin to get them, instead of following His Will and process.

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Luke 12:32
The devil makes you think that by lust (ungodly desire, ungodly pursue) you can pull someone down or get it by your own power of mischief and disobedience to God’s plan.

We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, what work thou didst in their days, in the times of old….

For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them. Psalm 44:1-3

You may get what you lust after, but you will not like the finished product/end result; because it was not of God, it was born out of the flesh, carnality.

They were not estranged from their lust. But while their meat was yet in their mouths, The wrath of God came upon them, and slew the fattest of them, and smote down the chosen men of Israel.  Psalm 78:30-31

You must know that the fact that you had your way does not mean it is approved by God, neither does it mean you are right. It is like a divorce that is approved due to hardness, stubbornness of your heart (Matthew 19:8). Not everything you receive is a blessing; some are due to your unholy cravings and your insistence on having your way.

But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me.  So I gave them up unto their own hearts’ lust: and they walked in their own counsels. Psalm 81:11-12

Many things are written in the Bible and happening around us as examples we should learn from. Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.1 Corinthians 10:6

We should not copy wrong things because someone is doing it and the person seems happy. He may not be happy, but just showing packaged deceit.

We should walk in the genuine Spirit of God and the light we have received not to please our flesh. If Eve had believed the husband and the instruction from God they (and we) will not be victims.

For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love Galatian 5:16

Be careful about these things you want to eat without concern about God.

Many have been misled and destroyed thinking they are right, but they are far from being right. They are completely wrong. There is no satisfaction in whatever lust gives to man.

Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. James 4:2.
