The enemy is still in the business of deception, making God look like a liar and as one who cannot keep His promises to His children through lies and falsehood.

The enemy is still in the business of deception, making God look like a liar and as one who cannot keep His promises to His children through lies and falsehood. In essence, accumulation of false knowledge is still ignorance. It is not enough to gather information from various sources. True knowledge can only come from the one and only true living God.

One of the world’s deadliest problems is poverty. Every other challenge hinges on poverty. Poverty removes dignity and honour from a man’s life. Poverty makes a poor man’s life look less and cheap before another mortal. It quickly turns a man into a beggar and makes him a slave in another man’s land.

Over the years, the global community has devised means of reducing the level of poverty and inequality around the world, particularly in developing and under-developed countries. Indeed, the first global goal among seventeen others in the Unites Nations Sustainable Development Goal is to eradicate poverty by 2020.

I do not need to prophesy that the United Nations or any government at that cannot eradicate poverty, which is both physical and spiritual. Not even the developed world is exempted from the spirit of poverty. Giving out food packs and clothes is only a deception that cannot eradicate poverty.

Poverty has been one of Africa’s major problems, but looking at the abundant resources that God has given us, Africans need not be poor. We should have no relationship with poverty, but due to ignorance of riches and wealth, or better put, our lack of proper handling of money, how to get it, multiply it or make it work for us, so many of us become beggars in the midst of abundance.

Things to Know About Money
• Money or wealth is not for special or peculiar people; it is for all
“Moreover the profit of the earth is for all: the king himself is served by the field.” Ecclesiastes 5:9
That is, it is not an exclusive right of some people.

• You can be wealthy. You can be blessed like father Abraham, if you will obey God’s Will like father Abraham.
“Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed” Genesis 12:1-3

• Money is not a citizen of any country, black, white, yellow, tall, short, fat or slim. That is, money is neutral. It goes to those who understand the law, or the principle of money and those who obey it. Money does not come to you because you are a Christian; it comes to you when you obey certain principles. That is why people wonder why unbelievers have money.

“If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.” Job 36:11-12

• You do not become rich because you are a Christian; you become rich because you obey the law. God does not give money, but he gives the power to make wealth.

“But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.” Deuteronomy 8:18
