Let God lead you
And, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:20b
I don’t know if you have been lost before or you missed your way and realized you have been driving in circle? Time is wasted, you are frustrated, tired, confused and your goal not achieved. On several occasions I have missed my way. I remember in 1987, during the national conference of NIFES I went with a brother to get some fire wood for the conference and we couldn’t find our way back to the camp. We were lost in Ikorodu jungle, the day was wasted and we came back empty.
While we were in Ikorodu jungle trying to find our way back to the camp, we forgot why we came to the jungle and our priority became how to find our way back to safety. I can’t remember till now how we found our way back but Isaiah 30:21 came to our rescue among several scriptures that has been loaded in us by our teachers. Miraculously we arrived back at the conference ground.
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. Psalm 32:8
And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers: And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. Isaiah 30:20-21
We must trust God as the path finder to lead us through this journey of life, or into areas and things we have never experienced before because He sees the end.
If you don’t want to come to the end of the year in pain and regret, only thanking God that you are alive without your dreams and visions for the year achieved, you must pray, plan, and work trusting and believing God for results. Remember, even a mad man that has no plan for success is also alive. Do something to better your life and the life of people around you.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Psalm 23:4
You must prepare your heart to receive instruction and guidance from God; don’t think you know it all. God has given us teachers for directions don’t be far from them; the buttons of your compass for direction are in the lips of your teachers.
For the priest’s lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.
Surrender to God’s leadership and avoid guess work in life. Life is not a game of chance; you must live intentional and planned life. Don’t play games with your life and destiny; enough of guess work, surrender to His leadership He knows the way.
