The hour has come for true worshippers – Part 2
Mk 1:15 “And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”
Presently, many people, including Christians, are ignorantly engaging in transactions and activities that are inimical to their salvation, just because they want to make ends meet. They forgot they are special and peculiar people dedicated to God and His service and therefore ought not to conduct themselves like people of the world. They are expected to understand the situation and thus restrain themselves from selling their birthright. As a Christian, it is demanded of you not to forsake the Lord your God, no matter the situation or defile your body and soul because you want to make money. The Scripture has a record of those that have knowledge of salvation, yet chose to love the world.
2Tim. 4:10 says, “For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.”
Demas’ abandoning his duty post as an assistant to Apostle Paul for the things of the world was a disservice not only to Paul, who had depended on him for domestic work but also to God Who called him into the workforce. Paul lamented over this attitude of Demas in forsaking him and by extension, the work of God and loving the things of the world, which decision could jeopardise his chances of making it to heaven at last. A good Christian should not, for whatever reason, abandon the work of God, as such a decision could scuttle his chances of going to heaven after death or becoming a candidate of rapture.
So, as a Chosen/believer, you should understand that no matter the situation you found yourself, you must not forsake your Creator, His work and Fellowship with the Saints. You must not as a result of restriction on gathering of people, due to the COVID-19 pandemic forsake the assembly of the Children of God at home, such as your family.
It is very unfortunate to see many Christians running the same rat race with the people of the world, to the extent of abandoning fellowship and things of God, which was the situation of Demas. If your situation is like that of Demas, you should understand that your salvation is under threat because you are expected to know that the present situation calls for total dedication to God and His work, as it is a truism that the End is at hand. We all are witnesses to the fact that wickedness has become the order of the day, such wickedness like violence, terrorism, kidnapping, banditry, killings and corruption in high places are now the order of the day, which point to the fact that the prophecy of the End Time is about to be fulfilled, and that Jesus is about to come.
If as a child of God you want to make it by all means, then it is certain you can’t escape corruption, because there is no office you will enter that is not corrupted. This is more reason why we cannot join the people of this world in the rat race because we are not the people of the world and have hope of eternity, while they have not.
I want to let you know that the ongoing evil in our society, today, is a sign that Christ is coming very soon. It’s not a time for you to recover your ground or what you have lost. It is not a time to say I want to make it now, for if you do that, you will lose your Salvation/Faith.
Matt. 24:4-8 says, “And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers’ places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.”
If the Bible proclaims sorrow at the beginning of the End of Time, we should ponder, which people these sorrows will be directed at. Without a doubt, the sorrows are not meant for believers, the righteous or holy persons. It is the beginning of sorrow for those that are not born again and backsliders, for sinners and wicked people, etc. So, if you are among those that compromise their salvation, then be assured that you will be among those their sorrow shall begin at the sound of the trumpet, and this sorrow shall have no end, as there will be no more chance for repentance. That is why you are advised not to allow yourself to be deceived, for many have been deceived. You must not allow a situation where you will abandon God, the things of God, righteousness and church in order to make it in this End Time. Remember, when the trumpet is blown, there shall not be an opportunity again for repentance. Let it be known to you that it’s a terrible time and every believer must be conscious of what he does with it. The coming of Jesus Christ is clear and that time is at hand, as the prophecy is being fulfilled before our very eyes. That’s why the Bible says that the time is fulfilled; people should repent and believe the gospel. It’s a time we must ensure that nothing is standing between us and God because after the trumpet has sounded like when Noah entered the Ark, there will be no second chance. In fact, it will be a lack of common sense to think that a second chance would be given, when all the free chances of Grace had been neglected. In fact, it will be very difficult at that time to have them repent, as their blood will be required and they will be tortured and killed by the antichrist. No, it will be very difficult. Or is it when they can’t buy or sell that they can make it? This is the accepted time.

My Cancerous Experience And How God Healed Me
THE Scripture says in Mark 10:27, “… With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.”
When we are discouraged by a sense of our own impotency, we should know it is the time to draw closer to God, for He alone can make impossibility possible. This was my case when God delivered me from cancerous disease. My name is Sis. Bernadine Njoku. I reside in Lagos.
Few years ago, I was diagnosed with Ductal Carcinoma, which was as a result of malignant tumour, commonly called cancer. As a result, I was booked to undergo chemotherapy, after which I would be scheduled for radiotherapy, as there was no way a cancer patient would undergo chemotherapy without doing radiotherapy. But unfortunately, I could not start the radiotherapy as anticipated, due to the breakdown of the machine at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH). So, I started looking for other specialist hospitals, where I could do the radiotherapy because if this follow-up treatment is not done at a given time, the cancerous tumours could take away the person’s life. On this premise, my siblings in America contacted a doctor in America, who billed them about US$50,000 after which they sent an invitation letter to me to come over for the treatment. When I went to the embassy and applied for visa, my application was turned down. I went the second time and was again denied. The third visit also yielded no result. I thought I had reached my life’s destination, as there was no hope for me again.
It was at that time that a friend of my husband’s visited and told my husband that there was a church in town, where great signs and wonders were happening, and many people had attested to the fact that God’s presence is there. My husband, desperate to find a solution, followed him and attended one of the services. He became convinced after listening to numerous testimonies. Later, they persuaded me to follow them to the church for God said, “And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me” (Ps 50:15). That was how I came in contact with the Lord’s Chosen for the first time.
By the grace of God in the course of deliverance ministration through prophetic utterances, the Pastor spotted my case and prayed for me. After the service, I was opportune to meet with the G. O. one-on-one. And he prayed and assured me that I had been healed, and I responded amen. When I went back home, I was still hoping to do the radiotherapy, but LUTH was still on strike. Eventually, when they called off the strike, I went there to meet my consultant for the radiotherapy. To my amazement after examining and re-examining me, he asked me where I went for medication. Puzzled, I asked him whether anything was amiss. He said, “Congratulation madam, your blood count has changed and your God has healed you.” He said that on the basis of this development, I was no longer going to do the radiotherapy again because there is no trace of cancerous tumour in my body.
Behold, that was how God cancelled the radiotherapy, which was supposed to cost USS50,000 and healed me of the terminal disease called cancer. However, since that day, the medical consultant kept telling me to come for routine check-up for three months, six months, etc, and I have been going and last year December, I was given a medical report certifying that I am now free from cancer.
During that time, an NGO, known as African Women’s Cancer Awareness Association (AWCAA) that is in partnership with other supporting cancer patients’ organisations in America was in Nigeria through the invitation of the Lagos State Government to create awareness and empower some Nigerians with cancer to be their own best advocate. Somehow, they got to know about my case and invited me. When I met with them, they examined me again and enquired what treatment I had been taken. I told them I had done chemotherapy. They asked if I did radiotherapy, I said no, that there is no need to undergo radiotherapy because the God of Chosen had healed me. They were marvelled at my response because scientifically, you cannot do chemotherapy without doing radiotherapy. They, therefore, concluded that it was indeed divine healing.
Brethren, that was how the God of Chosen cancelled my death sentence by cancer to live testimony. God has proved to me that He is a living God.
