RwandAir to commence Harare, Mumbai flights
RwandAir on Monday said it would commence flight operations from Lagos to Harare, Zimbabwe and Mumbai, India from April 2017.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the airline’s Country Manager, Ms Ibiyemi Odusi, made the announcement in a statement issued in Lagos.
Odusi said these were part of the seven new routes being planned by the airline which currently operates daily flights from Lagos to 20 destinations in Africa and Middle East.
“This year, there are plans for New York, London, Mumbai, Harare, Lilongwe, Bamako and Conakry.
“Mumbai and Harare flights will commence April. London Gatwick is slated for this quarter also,” she said.
Odusi said the airline would deploy A330-200, A330-300 and B737- 800 aircraft with onboard wifi /mobile network to the new routes.
She reiterated the airline’s commitment to safety, reliability, good customer service, in-flight entertainment, on time performance and seamless connectivity.
