“Echoing Green’s unique support model will equip us with access to seed funding and meaningful opportunities for networking and partnerships. We look forward to leveraging these resources to accelerate Shecluded’s impact on women’s economic empowerment in Nigeria and beyond.” said Uddoh.

As an Echoing Green Fellow, Uddoh joins a lifelong community of innovative thinkers, strategic partners, and industry peers. Since 1987, Echoing Green has identified and supported nearly 1,000 social entrepreneurs, including notable figures such as Former U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama (’91); Political commentator Van Jones (’94); T. Morgan Dixon and Vanessa Garrison (’13), co-founders of GirlTrek; Donnel Baird (’12), founder and CEO of BlocPower.

Echoing Green President Cheryl L. Dorsey emphasised the importance of this year’s Fellows. “From the planet’s hottest year yet, to ongoing global threats to democracy, to backsliding on hard-fought progress on racial equity — these are challenging times. We need bold solutions now for these and other significant challenges. These new Fellows are meeting this moment with a level of brilliance, care, and passion that gives me renewed hope for our collective future.”

The 2024 Fellows class represents 21 countries, including the United States, Nigeria, India, Australia, Germany, Colombia, and Kenya. Their innovative solutions address critical issues such as racial and economic inequality, healthcare access disparities, and inclusive education opportunities. The cohort marks the fourth and final group of Fellows supported by the Racial Equity Philanthropic Fund.
