Teenager stabs 38-year-old lover to death in Edo hotel

The Edo State Police Command has arrested an 18-year-old man named Kingsley Paul for stabbing his 38-year-old lover to death in a hotel in Benin. The incident occurred at the Ekehuan Barracks area of the state.

The police spokesperson, Moses Joel Yamu, stated that the suspect took his lover to the hotel and fatally stabbed her. He added that the suspect would be charged in court once the investigations are complete.

During his confession, Kingsley admitted that he and his lover had agreed on a fee of N2,000, which he had already paid her. He further stated that the woman was undressed when he stabbed her to death. Kingsley acknowledged that there was no altercation between them, but he still chose to kill her with a knife.
