HP unveils AI-driven print technology for home, office, large-format, design industries

The ground-breaking technology is set to reshape the printing landscape by integrating AI solutions that enhance efficiency, creativity and collaboration across multiple environments, including homes, offices, and large-format printing industries.

Announced at HP Imagine, the company’s global event for media and industry analysts, the President of HP Imaging, Printing, and Solutions, Tuan Tran, stated that the introduction of HP Print AI marks a significant leap forward in the printing industry, enabling users to overcome common print challenges and boosting productivity, whether for personal projects or large-scale business applications.

Tran explained that wiith features such as the Perfect Output function, the technology guarantees flawless prints by eliminating common issues like unwanted content and formatting errors.

“We are transforming the printing experience with HP Print AI, making it easier and more intuitive. Introducing AI solutions across our portfolio will simplify printing, ignite creativity, and accelerate collaboration, all while ensuring customer data is protected and kept private. This is our first step in setting a new standard for printing,” Tran stated.

Speaking on the key features of HP Print AI, Tran said the perfect output is designed to streamline printing from web browsers, adding that this feature removes unnecessary white space, web ads, and reformats content for a perfect print on the first try.

Tran said whether printing articles, recipes, or spreadsheets, users can expect clean, accurate prints every time.

Tran said the HP Scan AI Enhanced is an advanced scanning solution that digitises workflows for businesses by recognising document types and extracting key information automatically, reducing manual labour and saving costs.

Tran disclosed that a major retail group with 300 locations in Italy, reported an 80 per cent reduction in labour costs after adopting this technology in its delivery and inventory workflow.

On the HP Build Workspace, Tran explained that it is tailored for the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) sectors, adding that this AI-enabled platform simplifies site observations, facilitates collaboration, and automates reports and designs.

According to Tran, it also empowers professionals to streamline workflows and optimise designs through AI vectorisation and continuous feedback.

Speaking on the Personalised and Efficient Printing, Tran explained that HP Print AI not only enhances business workflows but also caters to creative individuals.

Tran said users can now personalise greeting cards, posters, and other projects using conversational prompts.

Tran further stated that the technology automatically upscales images, removes unwanted elements and suggests layout styles, ensuring high-quality prints every time.
