Nigerians now have access to Clinisept+ Wound Care, a UK-developed wound management solution.

Prince Andrew Eweka of Nigeria and Paul Burgess, MBE, from the United Kingdom, partnered to introduce the product into the country.

The product, which has received approval from the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), aims to support effective wound management in the country.

Clinisept+ Wound Care is formulated to aid in wound healing, offering a gentle solution suitable for pre- and post-operative care.

At a sensitization event in Lagos, Eweka encouraged medical professionals to integrate the product into their practice, highlighting its hypochlorous solution, which promotes a favourable environment for skin recovery. He noted that the product has been dermatologically tested and is easy to use.

Burgess, on his part, stressed the product’s antimicrobial qualities, explaining that Clinisept+ kills over 99.99% of bacteria while remaining non-irritating.

According to Burgess, the product is versatile and can be used for various wound types, including minor cuts, surgical wounds, and burns.
