Cowries Rugby Football Club at the weekend maintained its unbeaten run in the 2015 season by beating Royal Stallions of Ilorin 77-0 in a Week Three game of the Nigeria Rugby Football Federation (NRFF) sanctioned South West League.

The game at the main bowl of the National Stadium, Lagos, also gave Christian Ogar the opportunity to increase his lead on the scorer’s table by three tries, taking his total tally to 31 and 155 points on the scorer chart.

Another wing sensation, Onor Jato, who returned from a five-match break as a second half substitute for Cowrie, registered his fourth try of the season, while the captain of the side, Azeez Ladipo, converted six of 13 tries.

In the last game of the day, Eco II RFC lost to Racing RFC by 62 point to three.
