A Pastor at Christ Embassy Church, Claire Odii, has called on women to explore opportunities to make it in life adding that women should work hard in anywhere they find themselves, so as to be financially independent.

Odii, who works in the media department of the Christ Embassy Church said to work in media house is not an easy job, but despite this she ensures her efforts yield desired results.

“Women should work hard to make it in life rather than depending on their men counterparts. I handle camera myself when it comes to doing journalism work”.

“Therefore, I encourage women to play major roles in their place of work, in their businesses and every aspect of their lives for their own good”.

The Pastor said these during her 50th birthday anniversary, which held at the Cornerstone, Christ Embassy Church in Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos, adding she has worked with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, the founder of the church for 31 years. “I joined the Christ Embassy ministry in the year 1995 by then I was confused because I did not have understanding of my identity. “Sometimes I think am holy some time I think I am dirty”.

She said in preaching the gospel her pastor teaches her the word of righteousness, in the word of righteousness she gets to know who she are as a child of God. Where your mind is now it is at rest because you know your mission and purpose and you are on the path of fulfilling them.

Odii said there are many people who did not achieve their potentials in life because they did not know the word of God. “But I have come to know Christ ever since when I was much younger and I have been in the same path till date. I have been preaching the gospel, impacting lives, because this gospel is not a profession but it is a real life”.

“Gospel of our lord Jesus Christ is given meaning to our daily lives and through the gospel we can be able to give meaning to other people’s life. We are wining souls for Christ through the rhapsody of reality, through the healing schools and all the things we do in the ministry”.

She said in 50 years she is celebrating her life in Christ with understanding as bible said praise God with the understanding. “So I am not just following blindly, but I have the understanding of my impact in the gospel. I understand my role in the gospel so I am celebrating the opportunity God has given me. We are touching lives globally, so it is a celebration of life”.

Odii said 50 years is not a joke but it is a thing of joy for everybody around the world as she celebrates God’s faithfulness. “It is opportunity to thank God and thank people in my life as many people have come and gone within this face of 50 years”.

“I thank God for the celebration of my birthday because many people graced the occasion, my church members, ministry directors, my colleagues they all came to grace the occasion, I am grateful”.

“Including central executive council (CEC) members in the church I am very grateful”.
