AFTER the release of former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Chief Olu Falae, a few days ago, five of the eight abductors who kidnapped him have been arrested by security operatives.

A source close to Falae’s family revealed that three of the abductors were apprehended in Niger State by security operatives from Ondo State, while the other two were nabbed at various locations within the country.

According to the source, they were arrested some days ago and detained by the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) of one of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) state commands for further interrogation.

He also disclosed that security agents are still searching for seven other members of the 13-man gang.

“Three of the abductors were arrested in Niger State last Sunday, which led to the arrest of two others during the week. The police are still on the trail of seven other members of the group, but I am assuring you that the other suspects will be arrested before the end of this week,” the source said.
