TELL us about yourself, growing up, family background, education and all?

My names are Ifeanyi Dominic Nwogalanya-Ajah. I am the only child of my parents and I am the creative director of Dominic Lynn couture. Honestly, I would say I had a boring childhood because I was just confined to my house and all I did was watch TV and didn’t have lots of friend. That is just the disadvantage of being an only child. I am presently an undergraduate at the University of Lagos, Department of English to be precise.

How did it all start?

Firstly, I would not say my rise to fame because the stage I am at now is not being famous. I will preferably say my journey so far, and that has not been easy. That having to do with the fact that I am a student and also a designer. The combination of school and work is a very tedious task.

Which of your many jobs excite you the most?

Well that would be when a customer puts on an outfit made from by the brand and looks dapper and outstanding, it gives me joy knowing that this is the display of my creative ability.

What other areas of your career are you looking to explore?

I want to start designing for females. Currently I design for only men. However, the brand would be moving to that direction soon.

What’s your take on fashion and the industry?

I think the fashion industry is fast growing and there is a lot of hope and ambition coming from the designers in this present generation.

Do you think fashion is underrated?

In this part of world I wouldn’t say fashion is underrated, but on the contrary if grammar permits me, fashion is very much overrated.
