College trains students in vocational skills
Wellspring College has trained its students on vocational skills and another transformative initiative that empowers students to harness their creative potential and develop essential business acumen.
The project, titled: ‘Innovate to Elevate Entrepreneurship Pitch Challenge’, was aimed at equipping the students with experiences that are instrumental in preparing them to navigate the complexities of the modern entrepreneurial landscape with confidence and proficiency.
According to the school, the programme offered students a unique platform to engage in a competitive process to refine their entrepreneurial skills.
Beginning with a rigorous preliminary round, the participants were tasked with crafting and presenting their business ideas.
It said in the final stage, six outstanding teams advanced from the preliminary round, showcasing their innovative business concepts to a panel of esteemed judges, and three teams emerged winners, bagging cash gifts and opportunities for internships at startups.
Through these initiatives, the college reiterated its commitment to redefining the educational experience, blending academic knowledge with practical application.
“The innovative approach ensures that students are not only well-prepared for academic challenges but are also equipped to thrive in the entrepreneurial landscape,” it said.
