Institute gets new executive

The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) has elected new officers to steer the affairs of the institute for the next two years.
  
Following the successful conduct of the 29th yearly general meeting of the institute recently, the leadership baton was passed on to Adesina Adedayo as the President and Chairman Governing Council of CITN by Gladys Simplice, who held sway as the 14th president. 
   
Adedayo is a specialist in Risks Management and Economic Model Building.

He obtained his B.Sc. degree in Accounting from the Nasarawa State University, Keffi in 2017.

He is a Fellow of both the CITN and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), a member of the Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria (BRIPAN) and a certified fraud examiner. 
 
He holds a special executive masters in leadership and strategy from the Metropolitan School of Business and Management (UK).
Also, the institute’s vice president, Samuel Agbeluyi holds a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy with a Master of Science (Finance) at the Lagos State University, Ojo and MBA (Marketing) from ESUT Business School, Enugu. 

He went on to study Law at the University of Bradford, United Kingdom.

Agbeluyi is a fellow of CITN, ICAN and fellow of Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (FCIS).  
 
Similarly, deputy vice president, Innocent Ohagwa, is a graduate of Accounting from the University of Lagos and a Master in Business Administration from Bayero University, Kano.
