Okoye emerges NECA’s new president
The Nigeria Employers Consultative Association (NECA) has elected Ifeanyi Okoye as its new president.
Okoye, who was elected as president alongside three others, has been a member of the governing council and was the immediate past treasurer of the council.
They were elected during the association’s 67th yearly general meeting, at the NECA house, in Lagos.
Okoye takes over from Taiwo Adeniyi, who served the association for two consecutive terms.
Okoye, an entrepreneur and industrialist, who holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Pharmacy, is the Chief Executive Officer of Juhel Nigeria Limited, a company he founded in 1989, as the first tablet manufacturing company in Anambra State.
The other newly elected officers include Oyeyimika Adeboye, Managing Director, Cadbury Nigeria as first Vice-President; Goran Slandic, Managing Director, NBC as second Vice President and Richard Ayibiowu, Managing Director of Pivot Engineering as Treasurer.
