With conflict, divorce, violence, prejudice, abuse, division, polarisation, joblessness, rape and religious bigotry around, it is obvious that people need information and resources to live healthily.

In God’s Answer To Depression, a book written by Adekunle Olusanya, the author reveals that no human is absolutely immune to vicissitudes of life.

In the book, he laments challenges of mental health, which he says have now assumed a near epidemic, proportion globally, adding that good health, sound health, or even excellent health, is however, attainable, provided you take a cue from the promises of God concerning healing and from primary health experts.

He says mental health problems have now assumed a near epidemic proportion globally, in spite of numerous research materials available.

“Is God concerned about man’s health challenges? The unassailable fact is that He cares. Numerous Scripture references confirm He does. 1Peter 5:7-Casting all your cares on Him for He cares for you.

“Does God have an answer to the ravaging incidences of mental problems? Are there empirical evidences in the Bible that God does have panacea for man’s age-old health problems in all ramifications? You will find the answer to all these questions in this book. God’s Answer to Depression is not out to pontificate linear solutions, but to ignite the reader with a combustible faith in God’s word and His promises and to provide persuasive evidences that He is indeed our marvelous healer.

“Truly, there’s ‘no complexity beyond divine capacity.’ You will find in this book the healing ‘balm of Gilead’ that you can take and apply to your situation with stunning results. If you see this book as faith fortifier, you’re probably right.”

In his foreword, President, Vision Int’l Christian Ministries, Rev. Francis Olubambi, identifies technological, economical and religious pressures as reasons for mental and emotional challenge of many.

He says this is consequently responsible for the explosive rates of depression in the society, noting that many are undermining this obvious reality by living in denial.

Olubambi says this has also aggravated the situation by giving rise to multiple escalations of depression everywhere in the society.
